Frequently asked
How do I start a game with a friend?
From the home screen, pick a game and choose Play a friend. Share the invite link or select someone from your friends list, they join in a tap. No lobby, no setup.
What if my friend isn't available right now?
Every game can be played turn-based. Make your move and your friend will get a notification to take theirs whenever they're back, no need to be online at the same time.
Can I play against strangers?
Yes, choose Match the world to be paired with a random opponent for a quick game.
Do I need an account?
For now, yes, you sign up with an email and password (we send a quick link to verify your email). A guest mode that lets you jump straight in with no login is coming soon.
Is HeadDuel free? Are there ads?
HeadDuel is free to play with no ads today and no in-app purchases. Later on we may add a few minimal, unobtrusive ads, just enough to help cover hosting costs.
When is Warren coming?
Warren, our new strategy game, is in development. Quiz Game and Stop! are available now, follow along for the launch.
Delete your account & data
You're always in control of your data:
- Go to Settings → Account in the App.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
- Your profile, friends, and match history are permanently removed.
